Why don't you check out the FPGAarcade it's an AGA version of the minimig. Not out yet, but very shortly. I don't have a minimig but I've heard they are fine for A500 style games. The 4MB version is needed if you want to tinker with apps.

I read that ARM controller gives you the possibility to have 4 virtual drives. but it cost half the price of minimig!

I've google the FPGAarcade but there is no release date!
