In the future, maybe a Bluray writer when the drives will be affordable.

Those blu ray writers are becoming more affordable but I think I would rather spend the AU$300 on an SSD plus 1TB drive HDD combo. Unless you need to do presentations/education with it or something.

I'm saving my money. It's wait and see time again, lots of new stuff coming out, hopefully a classic compatible Amiga too.

A laptop,
My Voodoo U709 is getting to show its age, and since HP bought Voodoo PC and has totally gutted them, to get the "true" upgrade, you have to either go to Alienware or Falcon NW.
I don't like the quality of the Alienware since Dell has taken over, as I find Dell has really watered down the quality, opting for very cheap parts, so I am leaning towards a Falcon NW "Fragbook DTR" which is the true upgrade to the Voodoo U709. It has an I7 Extreme processor and 3 hard drives. My Voodoo has an AMD 3800 and just 2 drives and 2 DVD Burners, but the biggest limitation is it only allows for 2 gig of DDR2 ram (and it only has a Nvidia 7950 GTX). I wanted to just get an Opteron 185 for it, but they still want about $350 on E-bay for that CPU.

I just recently got a Toshiba satellite A500 it's great except the screen is not 2ms like my 22inch Asus. I get nauseus using the laptop screen  after a little while. The big co's always cut corners whereever they can. Buying a 2ms flat panel only increases the price by about $30-$50 talk about being cheap asses. There is no chance you would ever get (or got) a good soundblaster in a name brand system. Alienware are the only ones I know of that do proper gaming rigs.
