Hard drive contents to a CD?

I have an A3000 that recently died (see post about repair). In the probably good chance that it will never boot up again, does anyone know of a way (or willing to do this for me) to copy the contents of the internal hard drive to a CD-ROM?

The Amiga drive, or the computer itself?

The drive is fine, but the computer is quite dead.

I do believe it is.

I'm sure this has been done thousands and thousands of times, but I am not that technically adept... could I be jerk and ask for a link with step-by-step instructions so I can hand the project off to a PC-friendly friend of mine who is?
