I was just plugging random USB stuff into my 1200 to see what works and what does not...

Anyway this webcam worked and is bound to "usbvideo.device".

the pisideon USB docs say that is useful as a VHI device to use with VHI Studio. I see VHI studio is no longer sold it seems.

What else can I do with this? I have a 1200 with subway so i realize it may not do anything.  I would like something that would behave like a DigiView and grab stills without all of the color-wheel legacy.

Thanks!

The usbvideo.class does only work with the Deneb due to the requirements of the realtime ISO transfers. AFAIK the VHI docs are available somewhere, if you would want to write a wrapper around the VHI interface nontheless -- I'm not sure if they are available in the AROS repository, too.
