New to the Amiga scene but loving it so far. Just learning to work with original Amiga 2000 that I purchased off of ebay.

Hi Persia,

I am new to the Amiga retro computer scene but have been into retro macs for the last few years. I am currently working on a Amiga 2000HD that I purchased on ebay and have owned an Amiga 1000 and 500 for years but just broke them out a month or so ago and was hooked again. I purchased Amiga Forever and have been playing around with Amiga Explore for a month or so using my laptop to trasfer adf files to my A1000 of my favorite games from the past. It was all so amazing to me that I went out and spent a ton of cash on my A2000HD and now I am really hooked!

After working with retro macs for so long I have to admit that my heart is with the Amiga. I love it!

Thanks for the warm welcome, I have to agree with you on every  point. I lived through those moments but at that time I could only afford the A500 but I loved every minute of it.

I guess now all we have left is one hell of a fun hobby that I must say has brought me (and obviously those here) so much joy. I told my better half today that I was going to sell all my macs to make room for AMIGA's, she gasped because she has a thing for my Mac 512k cause she thinks it's cute!! OMG! so I will have to keep that one.

I will be sticking around! Again thanks for the welcome:)
