I had an Blizzard 060/50 603e & PPC at 240MHZ

It had to be towered in order for the PPC to remain stable running something intensive such as Quake on the PPC. The 060 was no problem. The PPC was stable in a PAWS case.
 
Now I have a Blizzard 1260 and that is absolutely fine in a desktop case.

I have read that an 040 can also be dicey in a desktop case.
