I don't know as e-mails to Elbox weren't very helpful considering that by the time the second card went the Mediator was presumably long out of warranty.
While I'm not entirely sure about the first card as it was pulled from a PC, I bought the second card from redrumloa which would lead me to believe that this probably wouldn't be the case with the second card.

i honestly don't know much about it. I was just trying to think of something that would slowly burn out a video board. I did have a ZIV(i used CV64/3D) and later a g-rex (voodoo of some sort) but that was a long time ago. hopefully someone with some fresh knowledge can help you get that issue resolved.
