I have a FastATA MK IV in my 1200D with a dual port IDE to SATA converter. I use a 60 gig OCZ SSD.

Anyway, for smaller files, it performs up to 2x faster than CF or a regular IDE HD.

not SCSI speed but its better than stock :)
