As long as its 64 pin DIP and 8mhz or better,your fine. speed is usually a -8 or -12 etc on the end of the part #.. you can even use a 68010.

if you use WHDload then you might consider the 68010. That will allow you to exit the game and go back to WB without rebooting. Very worth it.
