Why does this need permissions for position and internet access? 0_o

The version I put in the android market has an ad component (InMobi) at the top of the screen.

I'll compile another version without the ad for this forum if anyone is interested, but I need to fix a problem with the OpenGL font drawing routine first.

The ad does not refresh when in the background and when you press the back button the app will actually be killed and will not remain resident in the background like most android apps.

So what does it do?

It serves absolutely no useful purpose - really just an exercise for me to learn Android programming.  

I think I'll put a link to this video so people will understand it better.

(in version 1.0.3) I finally figured out the issue with the text being corrupt on some devices.

Hopefully anyway...
