Need help finding Pong clone
« on: March 26, 2009, 08:26:01 PM »
I used to play a PD game which was a pong-type clone but much more advanced.  It was kind of between breakout and pong and I seem to remember having a 2 player mode too.  Does anyone know what on earth I am going on about??  If so, could you put me out of misery and tell me what it is called?

Thanks
Allan

Great game! I liked it's unique way of doing levels.  You didn't have to knock out all the bricks, just enough to make it to the right-side edge and then your ball would move on to the next level.  Likewise, when you missed the ball, you didn't lose a life, the ball would simply fall back to the level before (alhtough incredibly sped up).  You wouldn't actualy die until you missed the ball on level 1.
