No as Red says, however it is possible to do the 50mhz hack on the 68882 coprocessor. I've done it succesfully in the past, but I wouldn't recommend it on such old hardware anymore. Best if you found a separate accelerator card.

Replace: it's impossible (as REDRUMLOA writes below). But hack 25 to 50Mhz without changing FPU or crystal: YES.
@Plaz: Yep, me too.

68882 to 50Mhz without any problem. Orignal crystal of FPU is already at 50Mhz.

Read here (in French, but u can see the pictures): http://obligement.free.fr/articles/fpu_a3000_50mhz.php

Based on this article "68882 FPU of A3000 at 50MHz" :  http://aminet.net/docs/hard/A3000-50.lha

Why would it not be possible to unsolder the 50mhz crystal and replace with a faster one (like 66mhz) to overclock the 030/882? I belive that the A3000's 030 is async - so it should not screw up the custom chip timings... By the same thought - I guess it is possible (but really really hard) to unsolder the 030 and install a faster one...

The author of the article (on "obligement.free.fr") wrote that COMMODORE tested FPU on A3000 about 100MHZ, but any indication on the length of the test and if components all supported this frequency.

I think I will be possible to swap the 50Mhz by 66 or 80Mhz ! But...it's at your own risk if the FPU burns   8-)
