Why would it not be possible to unsolder the 50mhz crystal and replace with a faster one (like 66mhz) to overclock the 030/882? I belive that the A3000's 030 is async - so it should not screw up the custom chip timings... By the same thought - I guess it is possible (but really really hard) to unsolder the 030 and install a faster one...
The author of the article (on "obligement.free.fr") wrote that COMMODORE tested FPU on A3000 about 100MHZ, but any indication on the length of the test and if components all supported this frequency.
I think I will be possible to swap the 50Mhz by 66 or 80Mhz ! But...it's at your own risk if the FPU burns 8-)
