@AmigaMac

"Well actually ne_one and another famous Amigan are working on bringing this to reality in the near future, so don't throw in the towel just yet! I think it's the best mockup of WB thus far!!!"

As others have pointed out, the mockup assumes some underlying GUI elements that likely won't appear until OS4+ but we'll certainly offer to help out with any skins. Has anyone officially commented on whether the prefs tools are PPC-native or will skinning be possible under 3.9 as well?

SlimJim's suggestion is a good one, but I'm not sure that dialog will get us anywhere. What we really could use is a site that would allow us to share information on the process and upload/download various skins.

@CnlPepper

Hey, not bad! We definitely need to avoid using serif fonts, that's one point that I'll add to the suggestion list.

Also, what about support for hotkey acceleration? And why do buttons in dialogs always appear fully justified along the bottom instead of equidistantly spaced and in the middle? Yuck.   :-P
