Amiga 1010 and 1011 drive linking issue?

I received a model 1010 Amiga floppy drive today. Hooked it up and it works just fine. Previously I had a 1011 Amiga drive, which also works fine. BUT, if I link the 1011 to the 1010, only the 1010 drive is seen when the Amiga (500) is turned on. If I plug each drive in seperately and power on, each works. So, what could be the problem? Is there some sort of compatibility problem I am not aware of with linking the 1011 drive to the 1010?

That makes sense. I had the 1011 and a Mejing drive hooked together previously and that worked, so the Mejing must have a lower power draw. I unplugged my accelerator and ram just to see if it work work, but no dice. I ordered a 250W power supply for the A500 now. It is something I have been wanting to do for awhile, and now it is actually necessary
