Think gnomeshell looks pretty confusing to me , and maybe another complicated gnometoy, but perhaps its me, i like to keep things simple at it is.
Im satisfied with 2 workspaces on my desktop, Netsurfing and Emu.
Btw. I tried the Ubuntu netbook edition on my netbook, when i decited to skip WinXP, found out that there was more clicking, for using apps, so i put a ordinary Ubuntu 10.04 Lts on it.
It runs fine, and even my wife is beginning to use Ubuntu
