whdload install problem - unable to open script

ok right so im trying to get whdload working on my amiga 1200, which is proving harder than i thought i keep getting errors and problems i will list the errors im having and how exactly im doing what im doing hopefully someone will be able to help me .

first of all i had a problem with the installer but i have fixed this one by copying "installer" to c using a shell command.

left in my whdload folder on my floppy disk are:
install
installer
c
s
docs(i think)

if i run install i get a command box up with the word install typed in it(just to clarify is this normal) so i hit return and out pops an error message:

"error: file is not an executable
 error: returncode 10"

can anyone help me on thsi please?

i now get the error "unable to open script" anyone know how to fix this thanks

i had a look in whdload's docs and it syas its a slave error how do i set a slave up?

but im not using it on a emulator im using it on a actual amiga 1200 thanks

ive done that but it keeps throwing the error off when i try and run t he install file

ive searched high and low i get a new error when i click the installer i get "unable to open script" whats wrong? google knows nothing of this phrase hopefully someone will have an idea here

i dont click the installer, i click the install file thats in the whdload drawer, and it brings up the unable to open script error, and im going to try and install prism2 tonight so i hope it doesnt do the same

and it has. im frustated with this, ive changed the installer file so many times making sure it isnt corrupt. the install finds it but then it must have problem finding the script maybe.
