Using ProTracker
« on: February 14, 2009, 10:26:12 PM »
I've downloaded ProTracker 1.3 from Aminet to use for tracking and basically to mess around with, but I've encountered a few snafus (besides not really knowing the interface, etc):

1) How do I make files with no icon display on Workbench without having to select "show all files"?

(I figured out #2)

3) Does anyone know of any good sample repositories?

4) Do later versions of ProTracker run on AmigaOS 2.04? I downloaded this one because it said "runs on 2.04" and assumed v3 etc only runs on AmigaOS 3 or later.

Thanks in advance, Matt

Thanks... but I've got even more questions! D:

5) How do you get it to advance patterns? It won't go beyond pattern 0 for me... (This is while playing, BTW. I can change the pattern during editing, and other mods go from pattern to pattern correctly, but not mine...)

6) When I try to load ProTracker (.MOD) modules from a DOS game, they work fine initially, but 9 times out of 10 end up freezing ProTracker and then start playing weirdly. Why is this?
