Hello!

I have now successfully hooked up my A500 to my pc, with amiga explorer... Its such a nice program, and works so great, i couldnt belieave it when i read about it :)

Well, after reading a bit, it seems like you could get a simple tcp/ip connection through the serial with amiga explorer?

Maybe even run a simple irc-program or something?

That would just be awsome! But maybe its not possible?

You can check out the post I made linked above.  Using this program running on the PC you can telnet/IRC from any serial terminal program on the Amiga.  (using a null modem to link the two)

If you wanted to go all the way, you could install a TCP stack on the amiga and do SLIP over the null modem.  But the above software is much easier, and worked great for Telnet.  Didn't try IRC, but it mentions it in the documentation.
