Fran Dramis' name was commonly associated with internal network security. Most of the IT at Bellsouth was contracted out to EDS during his tenure.

Prior to the merger Bellsouth had 104 executives in Atlanta. Last I heard there were 4 left.

I wish the guy luck. If he is involved with Amiga
it's pretty clear he was looking for a job which
makes "retirement" probably an insult.

I thought about this quite abit today.

The market for the 6th highest paid CIO in the
U.S. would have to be limited, but Fran Dramis
could do better than Ainc.

He made nearly $5 million a year on his own. That's roughly $6 million more than Amiga made since 1994.

There could be a Fran Dramis Arena in Kent if
he wanted.

He was the CIO, not the CTO, but still- given
his age what would the chances be that he was
an Amiga user back in the day?

Instead of laughing, just grab a beer.  ;-)
