Another Network question
« on: February 11, 2003, 05:36:30 PM »
I have got a Broadband-Router for my Cable-Connection (Its an SMC Barricade with Firewall, really cool device and cheap !)
My PC is connected to that one and gets an IP
from the DHCP-Server that is built in.
The same for my Miggy...
Now the question:

Is it possible to use SAMBA when there are dynamic IP's ? Or is it better to use static ones?

What do ya think ?

I have both MiamiDX and Genesis
(But my MiamiDX is not registered)

I'd like to use Genesis
And yes I talk about DHCP

I'm familiar with SAMBA..
