I've not powered on my A1200 for a few months.  I have too many interests so rotate hobbies every few months.

However, when my A1200 was last powered up I remember a) browsing the internet, b) connecting to other machines via telnet (running BitchX on a Linux box for IRC) and c) figuring out how to play mp3s with AmigaAMP.   I also remember struggling to get an FPU working;  the machine won't boot with FPU - I thought the first was faulty so bought another only to discover the exact same behaviour :(

I think if/when I buy an Indivision AGA the A1200 will see much more use.   I spend much of my time connected to remote machines via ssh, using IRC, editing web pages and documents - there's really no reason the Amiga couldn't be used as a daily machine.

Likewise, I agree with CommodoreJohn;  It may not be as quick under a 50MHz '030 but I wouldn't call it painful, in fact, I quite enjoy it (nostalgia perhaps, but it feels great).

I am however disappointed that Google+ no longer supports IBrowse ...
