I last did this - 5 minutes ago :-

Still disappointed by the overheating A1200 causing graphics corruption and random crashes.  Is it the caps?  Most seem to be tantalum (?) anyway - only 3 elctrolytics on the board.  I've now removed the metal shielding to enable better airflow ... and still it crashes when hot :(

You shouldn't be experiencing an overheating A1200 unless maybe you have an 040 card and/or a bunch of other power hungry or heat producing internal goodies.

I've sent you a PM rather than take this thread off topic - any advice gratefully received :)

hoping one day someone somewhere will get an email from my 1200 Amiga ,or even better i will get one back ,lol:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Don't joke - now we have both our A1200's online, email (YAM?) is the next step!

I need to give my miggy some medical attention first though.  I think she just needs some TLC - my girlfriend says I should have never resurrected her from the dead - implying she'll be doomed to live in some sort of zombie state now.  Apparently I should have let her rest in peace.  I almost feel guilty now :s
