WTB: Passthrough cable to connect A2000 video to Spectrum
« on: September 07, 2009, 06:00:27 AM »
Hi guys!

I now have a GVP Spectrum 24 board in my trusty A2000, but it didn't come with the pass-through cable that runs from the motherboard video-out port to the 9-pin input on the Spectrum board.

So, if you've got such a cable (or the skills to make one!), please let me know and we'll work something out.  I'd sure love to not have two monitors on my desk for this A2000...

I suggest getting an internal scan doubler (C= 2320 Amber for the 2000 or a newer
Indivision ECS) and using this with the Spectrum card for the best 1 monitor solution.

You can also see if GVP-M.com or Software hut has any original pass through cables available.

I think this is the most workable and clever solution to my problem, so I'll start looking for a 2320 or Indivision now.

The quest continues!
