WTB/T: A500 keyboard
« on: October 03, 2008, 01:41:16 AM »
Hi guys,

I just bought an A500 setup on eBay auction link, and as you'll see in the link, the "Z" key is missing from the keyboard.  Now that the machine has arrived, I find that not only is the key itself missing, but it looks like that spot on the keyboard where the "plunger" on the underside of the key would be is actually broken, and I seriously doubt that a replacement key would work or stay attached.

So, with that long-winded explanation out of the way, does anyone here have an extra A500-style keyboard that they could live without?  I'm open to purchasing or trading for one - while I'm new to the Amiga scene, I've got some other Commodore 64/128 stuff that I could possibly part with...

Thanks!

Huxley

Huh, that looks promising - would it work as an internal swap for an A500?  IIRC, the 1200 was a more traditional desktop with detached keyboard, wasn't it?

Thanks!
