My old 420mg Quantum from my first PC.  Man, that thing was a tank.  Loud, clanky.. but it ran perfectly with no errors for 8 years.  ahh, memories...

1) my first internet connection
2) the first module I ever downloaded.
3) the first mod I ever made
4) my first time using telnet to beat around the VMS boxes at college.
5) my first time using ytalk to annoy a complete stranger from Iowa state

The list goes on... I no longer have a machine with an IDE that would recognize that old sucker, so I did the only humane thing:  I wrapped it in a static bag, said a eulogy and buried it in the backyard

That hard drive was good to me.
Have you hugged your KennyR or Paul Gadd today?
