If that is the cost for the early adopters then they can keep it. I jumped on the early Adopter bandwagon as it was advertised as being approximately $400.
There is no way they can justify 4+ times the price quoted. (And I know all of the arguments so save it... And I would even live with twice the price at this point, but 4 times? Not a chance)
Pretty sure that if they push this price, the A1222 will surely and finally be dead in the water after a decade dying on the vine...
