can i use a PS/2 keyboard
« on: August 14, 2008, 07:44:01 PM »
on my 1200 using the KB hack (2 wires to keyboard MPU and +5 and 0v), soldering is not a problem   :-)
i got the PS/2 sockets (as I hack a lot of C64DTV's, colour corrections modding them into handhelds etc)
I have a reset switch wired to TP1 so not worried about that.

the next project for this 1200 is to tower it.
gotta love a Dremel

tbh I would rather save a few quid (well £18 in fact)
so was just wondering if I have to use an old AT keyboard or would a PS/2 one do using the KB hack

hmmm
found this

(sorry to the owner for the direct link to their site)

i assume this would work with a PS/2 as they seem to have used an AT socket.

gotta save some money some how  :-)
