Hey mate . Congrats on your Amiga 3000 . I have always wanted one , so im jealous now .. hehehe

Did you check / remove the internal RTC battery ?

If it still has the original barrel type battery i would remove it quickly , even if it isn't leaking and replace it with the newer CR type battery/holder . You can buy these replacement kits from Amiga sites like redsretro , amigakit etc....

 .

Yep, He has the Battery hack from DJBASE installed. I made sure of that when I got it LOL. Basically, he has everything done to it that a stock A3000 could have done (Roms mem, ETC). I am glad you are enjoying it. I hated to see it go, but I just have WAYYY too much Amiga's for a one bedroom Apartment the size of a shoe box.

Hi Quarkx!  Yep, I've gotten her up and running and hooked up to a nice 21 inch CRT monitor.  I put my spectrum card in it and it is looking awful nice!  I saw that you have a CDTV as well on AmigaLounge.  I am drooling again.....

Nathan

Cool, glad to hear it. The CDTV needs the Power supply transplant, but it is a nice minty unit (probably the reason I have not got around to swapping Power supplies yet, is because it is so minty and I don't want to risk that). It came from RED here about 6 months back and has 2 controllers that have never been used (3 in total). Like I said, WAYYY tooo many Amiga projects on the go.
