I think it really depends also on your location. In Canada (home of Commodore) other than all the C64 ads, you didn't see any on TV (except the very rare, odd one for the A500) piped in from the US, IF you were lucky to have cable. There was nothing for anything else, No CDTV, No CD32, No A600, 1200, nothing.
