You should be able to do that, but you still lack the workbench 1.3 disk.
If you like os 1.3 that much, why not consider buying a Minimig ?

The Minimig is NOT an A500 to a lot of people, close, but no cigar. It lacks all of the charm that an A500 has to offer, and is similar to a placebo in nature. When the real things are so cheap to pick up, why anyone would want a knock off at 4X (or more) the price of an A500, and not even finished, is just plain crazy in my mind. But hey, maybe I am missing something here.
I would say the same thing about the A1000. The A1000 is NOT the A500, Although similar in nature, the 2 have completely different users.
Sorry, I am starting to hijack the thread.
I have Amiga stuff for sale at http://amigalounge.com. You can follow my builds there also.

Sorry if I offended you. I myself own an a500 too !!! But, if I had to choose now (in 2009) between an a500 and a minimig I know what I want. And yes, the minimig might not be finished yet, but it can only get better.

No prob :-P
I wasn't offended, but the minimig is a whole different machine, that's all. it can't be compared to an A500 (or any Amiga model) in any way. It on EMULATES the roms (and the WHOLE hardware for that matter), it (for what ever reason the creator's chose) does not have actual, physical Roms, and therefore can not be evenly close, used to comparison. A person would be better off to use winAUE, because it amounts to the same thing, and WinAUE is a LOT cheaper.
