Although I've never seen the Viper 530 I think Robert17 is correct, on an A500 I don't think any accelerator worked with more that 4 MB of Memory.
I couldn't find an English Manual, are there jumpers on the board for memory size of memory timing? This appears to be the same as a DCE Viper 530 which allows 128MB of RAM but requires a Kickstart 2.05 according to the BBOAH in order to use the IDE Interface. The German Manual I was able to find didn't indicate a Jumper Block for RAM Configuration.
