MP3@64 And WorkBench 3.1
« on: May 16, 2009, 06:35:06 AM »
Hi all.

I am expecting my recently purchased MP3@64 to arrive within a week or so but before it arrives, i would like some info as to what players and OS versions work with this mp3 decoder. I have downloaded the MP3@64 Mepeg device and the supplied readme says that it will allow the decoder to work with AMPlifier that is supplied with OS3.9, but i am still happily running Workbench 3.1 on my A1200 and have no real need to upgrade to 3.9. Has anyone had this decoder working or knows if this decoder will work with other MP3 players under Workbench 3.1 with the downloaded Mpeg device??.

Cheers

Thanks to all who have helped here in this thread. I'll try the older version of AMPlifier, but i wonder if the current program i am using which is called Prayer2 will work with the MP3@64??
Well i'll be busy experimenting when it arrives.

Cheers

Today I received my mp3@64. I successfully tested it with the following programs:

- Amplifier (using mp3at64mpeg.device)
- AmigaAmp (using mhimdev.library and mp3at64mpeg.device)
- Streamer 2.08 : last version on aminet (2.10?) crashes my system (using mhimdev.library and mp3at64mpeg.device)
- AminetRadio (Using mp3at64play. See the aminetradio documentation).

Thank you Jens and Chris for another piece of great hardware.

Great stuff. Thanks for letting me know what software you have had luck with. These are all running under OS3.9 i would presume?

Cheers
