Amiga 1200 HD Problem
« on: February 08, 2009, 06:18:30 PM »
I have my old lappy hard drive I stuck in my 1200.
It detects it, formats it and works fine.
However; It is 10 gig, and due to the 4 gig limit, will it work to simply partition 3 3-gig partitions? When I try this it appears to work, but when I am installing OS3.1 when it gets to the fonts, it says there is not enough room to install the fonts. So maybe I am missing something.

Thanks,

Joe

Ok sounds good... IDEFix97....

How does this chronologically work?

Lets say for example, I just put in the 10gig drive.

Do I first boot off the 3.1 install disk then format with idefix97?

How does it work?

Thanks!
Joe
