GVP A530 and multiple scsi-drives ?
« on: July 01, 2008, 01:10:45 PM »
Finally I got my A530. It has 4GB drive in but bearings seems to be dry so sound is very high pitch whining. Im planning to replace HDD with "new" one.

Im planning to put another drive on same (but longer) scsi-cable and copy files from old to new.  But I cant find information of A530 supporting multiple drives.

Has anyone more information or perhaps experience?

SCSI-world is part of my everyday-life so im not practicing first time with this antique ;)

Well, it seemed to work like charm as it was supposed to do.  Next thing to do is move some old Sun external harddrives behind A530 :)   disk-to-disk backup !
