I finally received the cables and adapters and got some time to hook the 2000 up to that 20" jvc studio monitor I have. I ended up with a 23 pin to vga adapter connected to a vga to bnc cable which plugs into the back of the monitor. I had to play around with various settings and I had to plug in one of the two sync cables. But the verdict is that it works great. It's essentially the equivalent of a 20" 1084 monitor. I haven't had a chance to see what an interlaced mode looks like yet.
That sceptre 19" lcd display should be here any minute also.
