I've got one in my A2000 & there is nothing bad to say about it at all.

Plug & play, no software required, can control up to 4 IDE devices at once, even sees ZIP drives at boot...it's great!

The only problem I had was at installation when there was no picture to indicate which way it went in. PM me when yours arrives & I'll take a pic for you :)

I'm using 3.1 but just checked & it will work with 1.3 onwards, so you'll be fine.

It's hiding in there pretty much directly under the support rod.



Ok, not a very good pic...but as you can see, the IDE ports & power connection are on the "PSU side", as in, they face toward the PSU.
