Blizzard 1260 with standard PSU
« on: March 09, 2010, 09:47:54 PM »
Hiya,

I've got one of the later Escom A1200's still in the desktop case with the standard black lightweight PSU.

Now I know that the 1200's PSU is notoriously 'weak' but I'm currently running the following hardware additions without any problems:

Blizzard 030 + FPU
IndivisionAGA
IdeFixExpress
8GB CF HD
Wireless PCMCIA network adapter

Is the Blizzard 060 more power-hungry than the 030?  Anyone know if I would I get away with an 060 upgrade or would I run into power supply problems with my kind of setup?

Thanx

Mores watts are allways ok but the coolers are too much in my opinion.

Depends what chip revision you run, the later ones run cool to the touch.
