@omnicron

I agree. This is what my post is describing... I think:

1. AGA indivision is fine, works great with legacy drivers.

2. HighGFX is problematic. And do think heat is an issue here...

It's not a heat problem, well not directly anyway.  We went through all of this over on EAB, we even got Jens on the case ;)

It's down to one of the numerous AGA MB bugs (which are well documented).  I was getting all sorts of weird visual crap going on until I performed a HW fix on my MB, now my Indivision puts out a rock-solid display in ALL screen-modes :)

Just got around to doing the E127R hack, and am happy to report that it completely fixed my HighGfx mode problems! Totally rock solid.

:banana::drink::drink:

Cool, another one enjoying the best AGA can get :)

Hey Novacoder, Off topic, but I notice you have an 8GB CF in your A1200. What type is it and any issues in setting it up.?

Cheers

Gertsy

Hiya,

It's an 8GB SanDisk Ultra 2, no problems with setting it up at all and it's now up to 4.5mbs transfer (IDEFIX Express + SpeedyIDE + BlizKick).

I'm running OS3.9 and SFS but I think you should be ok with any OS from 3.1 up as long as you put your boot partition in the first say, 2GB.
