The Indivision .pdf does not say.
The Aminet readme of HIGHGFX does not say.

Both will run at 256 colors (including I suspect the new 1280x1024 extreme mode) BUT performance will suffer.  I found that with an 030 1200, 64 colors was the most I could run at using 1024x768 with good performance.
