The lucky people should save them for under the Christmas tree along with some goodies from Amigakit, how many times in this day and age do you get to unbox a new A1200! :)

The worst case scenario probably the caps have dried out and need replaced.

Is probably about time these motherboards are serviced anyway.

He never mentioned that these supposedly NOS Amigas came with a whole bunch of retroactively fitted parts. I mean, just from looking at the manuals inside the Magic Pack software bundle you can tell those have been thrown in used (lots of stains on them). The Amigas have also been taken out of their package at least once before being shipped (the seal on the back has been broken and the case looks like it has been cleaned).

Well you have certainly changed your tune since post #245 when you were praising Petro for the computer being in such pristine condition.
The packaging manuals, floppies sitting in a warehouse for 15+ years I would imagine should look a little worn by now.

The tone of some of these replies suggests that if you open up a new,old stock box and find an old cheese sandwich instead of a computer, you still have no right to complain.

If the units are used and refurbished then it should have said so in the sales description.

You wont find that bit of information in the sales description because the criminal mastermind Petro has been coning us all along, what he's actually been doing is driving around Europe in his big van collecting as many used and dirty Escom packs as possible, in order to bring back to his secret layer in Germany for a quick clean up and then flogging them on!

The discoloration to some of these Escom packs has got nothing to do with them sitting in a warehouse enduring changes in climate over a 15 year period, absolutely nothing at all!
