I would personally pick Stachu100 for any CSPPC/BPPC repairs. If the problem is traced back to the PPC chip then he has the equipment and expertise to replace it, where as I understand Jean Jacques doesn't offer this service and will only be able offer to unsolder all the PPC components and convert it into a MKIII.

A repair on a PPC card is very much hit and miss. If the problem is caused by something like a broken 68k socket or the PPC has fried then it can usually be repaired, however if the board logic itself has failed then it's very unlikely it can be fixed.
