Pac Man - Hall of Fame music
« on: April 07, 2008, 04:17:31 PM »
Hi all.

I grew up using the Amiga 600 - plenty of memories of 'workbench' and all those millions of games. I stopped playing it though, about 9 years ago when the Playstation just seemed better.

The other day though, Pacman came into my head, and notably, the Hall of Fame music. After nearly a decade of sitting at the back of my mind, it just came to me - that strong, almost scary music that used to play when you got to the hall of fame after seeing the words 'game over'.

I've looked all over the internet for a midi of it, but so far to no avail. If anyone has a copy, or can get a copy, of the midi I'd very grateful. It'd bring back a ton of memories of rushing home from school in the 1990s to  play my Amiga.

Cheers.

P.S. I lost my Amiga shortly after the millennium, but I've still got all the 130-odd disks full of games. Is there any way of using WinAUE (I have that) to play them off floppy disc? I tried one in my PC through windows explorer, but it just said "This disc is not formatted; do you want to format it now?"

Thanks for that, but it's only the midi (sound file) I'm after.

Also, I wouldn't want to download games because I have them all on floppy discs, created back in the 1990s. If there's a way to run them through a PC, it'd be fantastic.
