Unethical ebay sheisters
« on: May 04, 2004, 10:53:11 PM »
So I'm auctioning my A600 (and some rig) on ebay.

(for those interested...)My A600 rig

So dude, emails me asking if I would just sell it for my starting price + shipping.

(no one had bid)

Sheister.

I entered an agreement. This sounds like the sort of thing people have been complaining about for a long time.

So check out what he sends back to me...

>ooh right.  better not break the rules. LOL

I'm tempted to send one back tell ing him (as you Brits would) to "bugger off." Nice to know some folks have very little character.

He SHOULD have provided more pictures and description as this creates confidence within the bidders that the items are really special and that the seller is genuine, VS one blurry picture which paints a picture in their heads that says: "Here's my pile of junk...take it or leave it".

Is that really what it says??? Well I don't know about all the little heads games, but I shoot from the hip baby. I wouldn't sell it for less than $50, I'd value it at more and have been good about answering questions for folks. If I don't sell it, so be it. Maybe this some sort of Fruedian deal... Maybe I really don't want to sell it. Plus, we're talkin' 50 bucks here, not a small fortune. I guess I'm just not hip enough for ebay.

And as far as I bid, I'd pay what it's worth to me and not a penny more...

P.S. I think it is a term for a lawyer, but I've heard it used for businesses that are less than ethical (for instance, car salesmen, repair shops). I think it's Yiddish.
