Hi wheels. I'm afraid I have more Qs than As... It does sounds like something is overheating. If executive is what I think it is, something that allows asynchronous operations within the WB, yes I'd try to disable it just to see. You have to take every suspect bit out of the way, and test your lego machine brick by brick.

How hot does a 50MHz 060 operate without any cooling ?
Does the
apollo4060 accept a replacement crystal ?
Why are
66MHh 060 CPUs available when I though :crazy: that only the
crystal oscillator determined the CPU speed ?
Is that latter
66MHh installable in an
apollo4060 (fitted in an A3000) ?
Also, what are the differences between this appolo 060 board and the others (bliz/DCE, Viper, etc)? Is that true that it can only take 64Mb of RAM ? How so ? I mean why ? :-?
