Screen tweaking
« on: March 27, 2003, 01:44:30 PM »
On this A4K with a Commodore 1942 Monitor, I have a lot of display problems.

In short, the hardware commands does not allow me to make the WB cover the whole screen, instead I hav a blank border of 2 CM on each vertical side ! :-x

On the horizontal side, this is no better, I have to drag the screen down to see the titlebar :(

I understand that all this is "tweakable" using one of the multiple hacks in
/aminet/gfx/aga/

But there are so many ! What would be the safest, most complete solution for a vanilla A4K and his bi-sync monitor ??

Thanks

pX

@carls

Thank you VERY much for the light.

Heck, what I ultimately want is to make this monitor game-only. I'm investigating towards graphic cards for my 4000 to plug my Iiyama MT9017 and get set.

I only wanted to use the 1942 at its best, and your post pretty much makes my day  :-P
