CD ROM drive mounting

Newbie Question Alert!

I have just added an old SCSI IBM CD ROM drive to my 3000T.
How do I get it to mount?
I am currently running OS 3.0.

The jumper settings are:
Term power ON
Termination ON
Sector Size OFF
Parity ON
ID 4

I've been trying to figure this out but no joy.

The SCSI chain is set with the internal HD first in line after the controller and the CDROM last.
It is terminated.

When I open HD tools it sees the HD and CDRom but lists the CD as unknown.

I cannot find a mountlist anywhere!

There is only one driver in Dev/DOSDrivers.  PIPE
And 4 in Storage/DOSDrivers.  AUX,PC1,PC0 and RAD.

Told you it was a newbee question!

Wish I could but until I get my CDRom working I can't load the software for my new X-Surf board or transfer the prog over from my Mac.

I also have a new Deneb but can't load that software because i don't have the installer in my system :headwall:

Don't have a floppy drive for the Mac.

Yep ... I actually have AF2008 but no serial port. It's a new MacBook Pro.

I have been twisting this thing every which way to get stuff on the miggy.
Guess the floppy idea is best...just get a cheap USB drive for the Mac.
Just seems so wasteful when after one or two uses I'll be connected via USB and Network!

Like I said...anyone for some Catch...22  :crazy:

Yep a nice alternative as my Mac has BT, but gotta get the Deneb running first.

OK...got the floppy.
Found one at the local electronics recycling event  :-)

What is the correct procedure and what type disc (880kb or 1.44 etc) should I be using?

I'm gonna start a new thread for this question....trust that's cool.
