Converting a US based A4000 to Australian Power and graphics spec.

Good afternoon all,

I recently purchased an Amiga4000 from the US as a project machine and am looking to get it ready for use in Australia. Will it be as simple as swapping power supplies to 230 spec? ... or are there other pitfalls for young players involving the devices that also need consideration?

Wow. Thanks for the prompt reply. I was looking at the step down option, but was advised to get an internal since it (transformer) runs hot if it's on for longer than half a day. I landed myself a Cybervision3d with scan doubler which should allow me to hook her up to an LCD. (I hope). Picasso iv would have been nice though.

It currently has a 300W bigfoot but its for the 110v US standard. The Cyberstorm 060 board has SCSI board, so I wanted to make sure i had plenty of juice to max out my storage. I wish cloanto would go into hardware and resurrect the AAA project. Aint going to happen though.
