Hello!
I've been messing around with my HP t5700-series Thin Client that I bought for my MagicJack and managed to get AmiKit running on it. It's a nifty, small setup. You can get these Thin Clients off Ebay for around $100-$200 (its like this one, but I believe mine is the T5710)

I was concerned that AmiKit wouldnt run on my Thin Client b/c it has a Transmeta CPU, but it runs great! (and very low power consumption; 12 watts I think?)
The Thin Clients also come with a nifty compact hard drive module, that I think work on my my A1200 (although since my board died last week, I haven't been able to confirm) I checked the spacing next to my Individion AGA last night, and its close, but it should be ok. They come in 256megs and 512megs and look like this:

All in all I am into it for about $150, but you may already have the IDE adapters/USB Mouse/USB Keyboard laying around from your other projects.
Another cool thing is that HP offers a downloadable version of XPe. It comes with an installer that installs (from your PC) to a Thumb drive, and then from the Thumb Drive to the Thin Client. But that version of XPe is somewhat locked down and a little tricky to use. (You have to specify if you want to save changes to the Flash Drive when you reboot or loose all your configuration changes)
If anyone is interested I can post pictures, video, whatever. I haven't tried copying AmiKit to the hard drive yet, but I imagine that would work too. Until I get another A1200 MB, looks like this will be my Amiga for a while.
