Maybe. But if it does, then only on graphics cards that support draggable screens by hardware. And the CV doesn't AFAIK, so it doesn't matter.

No, but at least I am absolutely sure this was the reason they gave for not supporting draggable screens on the CVPPC.

And if they supported software-dragging on other cards, then why not on the CVPPC, too. If it was software, they didn't even need to adapt it, they could just use the same code for all gfx cards.

Programms using the CGX API work on P96 either because P96 emulates the CGX API. The other way does not work because there is no P96 emulation for CGX (at least not an official one).

So all programmers supporting CGX for graphics card software support all users while programmers using P96 only support a small group of users.

This is still true for AmigaOS 4.
