The HDToolBox can't see the hard disk.
Check icon information of HDToolbox. There should be a tooltype reading SCSI_DEVICE_NAME=gvpscsi.device
HDtoolbox is only for prepping and partitioning the drive. You format it using the normal Workbench "Format" command
You also need HDToolbox to make a partition bootable.
(or PFSformat, or whatever, if you're using an alternative file system).
That's more for experienced users. The standard Format command is ok for all file systems.
If the drive isn't detected by HDtoolbox at all go back and recheck your connections, ID and termination settings, etc.
If partitions of the drive are shown in Workbench, then the hardware is ok. It's just a configuration issue with HDToolbox.
